A sports volunteer training course will be held on Sunday, December 5th as a commemorative project for the disabled week.

The instructor is Uran Sawada, who participated in the athletics (visually impaired) of the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games and won the bronze medal in the mixed 4x100m universal relay.

Sawada is an athlete related to Kita Ward who lives in the ward and is from elementary and junior high school in the ward.

Part 1 Understanding of people with disabilities from parasports (lecture)

We will give lectures on the theme of parasports competition introduction, mutual support in the field of parasports, and a symbiotic society.

Would you like to learn from active athletes about the parasports that were exciting at the Tokyo 2020 Games?

Part 2 Let's enjoy learning together! What are sports volunteers who deal with disabilities? (Lecture: including practical skills)

We carry out recreation and accompaniment experience.

Let's deepen your knowledge about visual impairment while actually experiencing it!
